"A year has passed, and the wounds are still bleeding"

Imagine living in a besieged world, where the siege is more severe than war, where deprivation is the dominant feature of life. This is the reality of the people of Gaza today, one year after a war that destroyed their homes and dreams and deprived them of their most basic rights.

According to the report of the Palestinian Ministry of Health on September 15, 2024, since last October 7:

The number of martyrs reached 41,206

The number of wounded and injured reached 95,337

The number of displaced people reached more than 2,000,000 displaced people, most of them in Rafah

Of them, 1,737,524 are infected with infectious diseases as a result of displacement

And the number is still increasing.
