The Catastrophic Situation in Gaza:
Since October 2023, Gaza has experienced widespread destruction, with over 230,000 housing units completely or severely destroyed, in addition to 200,000 units partially damaged. This situation has led to the displacement of more than 2 million people who lack adequate shelter, worsening their health and social conditions.

Overall Project Goal

To provide temporary and safe housing solutions that ensure warmth and privacy for displaced families in Gaza, aiding them in maintaining resilience and improving their living conditions.

Project Objectives

1. Provide safe housing that upholds the dignity of families.
2. Protect tents and damaged homes from harsh weather conditions.
3. Offer quick solutions to meet urgent shelter needs.

Project Types and Costs

Dignified Shelter Project (Caravans):

• Description: Providing fully equipped caravans with essential amenities (sanitation and electrical) as temporary housing.
• Cost:
   21 sqm (2 rooms + bathroom + kitchen) = $3,500

Tent Provision Project:

• Cost: $400 per tent.
• Target: 1,000 tents.

Tarpaulin and Nylon Provision Project:

• Cost: $165 per tarpaulin, $40 per 5-meter nylon sheet.
• Target: 10,000 tarpaulins and 10,000 nylon sheets.
